Marble Bar Football Association 1967-1971

The inaugural Australian Rules Football match was played in Marble Bar on 9 July 1967.

The match was played between Comets  captained by Denis O’Meara and Ironclads captained by Don Marr.  Comets ran out winners 6 goals 12 behinds to Ironclads 3 goals 1 behind.
